Adult eye dose

1 drop per application, instilled 4 times a day.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients. Also, patients with a history of myocardial infarction or those who have experienced myocardial infarction in the past should not use this medication. The use of this medication may cause side effects such as dysgeusia, secretion from the eyes, dizziness, headache, abnormal sensations in the eyes, chalazion, and eye pain. Dysgeusia, in particular, may occur relatively frequently, so caution is advised. Benzalkonium chloride included in this preparation may irritate the eyes, so contact lenses must be removed before instillation and can only be reinserted after at least 15 minutes. Additionally, if using soft lenses, it is advisable to avoid wearing them as there may be discoloration. After instillation, the eyesight may temporarily blur, so caution should be taken when operating machinery or driving. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid using this medication as its safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently verified, and breastfeeding should be discontinued if use is necessary. The safety and efficacy of this drug in children have not been established, making it advisable to avoid usage in this population. This medicine is for use only in the eyes, so care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from touching the eyelids or eyelashes. To prevent contamination, sharing is to be avoided, and after usage, the eyes should be closed and the tear ducts pressed for 1 to 5 minutes to enable proper absorption of the medication. When using with other eye drops, an interval of at least 5 minutes should be maintained between applications, and the first use should involve discarding 1 to 2 drops to remove any foreign substances from the tip of the container. Single-use products should be used immediately after opening and any remaining medication should be discarded. This medication should be stored out of reach of children in a cool place, protected from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container, and close the lid immediately after use. Multi-use products should be used within 18 days after opening.

If this medication is multi-use, it should be stored in a tightly sealed container at room temperature between 15 to 30 degrees Celsius. For single-use, it should also be stored in a tightly sealed container, maintaining room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Additionally, after opening the pillow pack of the single-use medication, it is important to store it shielded from light.
