Prevention of vitamin B2 deficiency and improvement of oral (angular cheilitis, glossitis) and skin diseases.
This medication is used to prevent and treat vitamin B2 deficiency. It helps to improve various symptoms and diseases that may occur when there is insufficient intake of vitamin B2. It is particularly effective for supplying vitamin B2 to individuals with chronic diseases, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and those engaged in heavy physical labor. It is also used for various skin and mucous membrane diseases such as infections around the mouth, anal and genital erosions, acute and chronic eczema, pellagra, solar dermatitis, and conjunctivitis. This drug treats various diseases related to vitamin B2 deficiency and metabolic disorders.
For riboflavin, administer 2 to 30 mg to adults via subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous injection per day. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medication should be used with caution as glass fragments may mix when cutting the glass container for injection, especially when used on children or the elderly. Moreover, the benzyl alcohol contained in this medication can be hazardous to premature or newborn infants, so it should not be administered to these patients. This medication should not be administered to individuals allergic to it or its ingredients, and should be avoided in newborns or premature infants. Since there can often be deficiencies of other vitamins when vitamin B2 deficiency exists, the possibility of a complex vitamin deficiency should also be considered. If this medication does not show effectiveness when used for vitamin B2 deficiency or metabolic issues, it is recommended not to continue its use for more than one month. This medication can cause urine to turn yellow, which may affect some clinical test results. It is primarily recommended to administer it intravenously, and when given subcutaneously or intramuscularly, care must be taken to avoid nerve or tissue damage in selecting the injection site. Especially, do not repeatedly use the same injection site, and if there is severe pain during the injection or blood backs up, stop the injection immediately and inject at another site. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and stored at room temperature. It should be stored in its original container, as transferring it to another container may degrade the quality of the medication or pose a risk of misuse. With prolonged storage, the solution may develop a black stripe, which indicates that some vitamin B2 has changed.
Causes urine to turn yellow, injection site pain, potential effects on tissues and nerves, possibility of pain and blood reflux at the injection site.

This medication is sensitive to light and should be stored in a container that does not allow light exposure. Additionally, it is important to store it at room temperature, that is, between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius, to maintain its efficacy.
A transparent solution that is yellow to orange in color, contained in a brown glass ampule for injection.
