Precautions

This medication is intended for temporary use as an emergency contraceptive. It should not be used as a regular contraceptive method. Even if you take this medication, it does not guarantee the prevention of all pregnancies, so if you experience unusual bleeding near your expected menstrual date or do not get your period within 7 days after the expected date, you must take a pregnancy test. Individuals who are pregnant, allergic to this medication's ingredients or excipients, or have genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. If there is a risk of ectopic pregnancy or if you experience lower abdominal pain after taking the medication, you should consider the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy and continue to monitor your health condition. Furthermore, individuals with severe asthma or severe liver dysfunction should take this medication with caution. This medication can cause various mild adverse reactions, including headaches, nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, skin rash, and menstrual irregularities. Your menstrual cycle may be earlier or delayed, and spotting between periods may occur. It is safe to use this medication only once a month, and repeated use within the same cycle is not recommended. After taking this medication, you must use non-hormonal contraceptive methods, such as condoms, until your next menstrual period starts. If more than 120 hours have passed after intercourse, this medication will not be effective, and it should not be taken. This medication does not prevent HIV or other sexually transmitted infections, so additional protective measures are necessary for STI prevention. When taking this medication with other drugs, interactions may occur, especially with drugs that induce or inhibit certain liver enzymes, so caution is needed. It is advisable not to use this medication if you are pregnant or might be pregnant, and if you are breastfeeding, avoid breastfeeding for at least 1 week after taking the medication.
