Precautions

This medication must be used strictly according to a doctor's instructions, and one should not self-prescribe or adjust the dosage. It should not be administered to patients with hepatic coma or those at risk of hepatic coma, patients with severe kidney dysfunction, and those with certain metabolic disorders. Additionally, it is contraindicated in patients with congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, oliguria, or anuria, and caution is needed for patients with hypernatremia or hyperkalemia. It is also prudent to avoid administration in patients allergic to ingredients contained in this medication or those with amino acid metabolism disorders. It must be used with caution in patients with severe acidosis, congestive heart failure, liver disorders, and kidney disorders, as there is a risk of allergic reactions or asthma attacks due to the presence of sulfites. During administration, allergic reactions such as rash, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, and increased blood pressure may occur, and immediate reporting to healthcare personnel is necessary if symptoms arise. Rapid or high-volume administration may lead to metabolic acidosis or other serious side effects, necessitating caution during use. Regular blood tests for blood glucose, electrolytes, liver, and kidney functions should be conducted to monitor the condition closely. Co-administration with certain drugs may reduce efficacy or cause side effects, so any other medications being taken must be communicated to healthcare personnel. Safety has not been established for pregnant women, and it should only be used when absolutely necessary. In children and elderly patients, dosage and administration speed must be adjusted with caution. This medication contains electrolytes and may cause electrolyte imbalance in cases of overdose, so it must be administered at a slow rate, and strict aseptic technique should be followed for preparation and management. During storage, avoid direct sunlight, and do not use solutions that show discoloration or abnormalities. It should be used promptly after opening.
