However, it is crucial to assess each patient's overall health status and risks before administering this medication. This helps minimize the possibility of side effects and ensures safe treatment can be conducted. Therefore, this medication is effective in reducing the discomfort of osteoarthritis and improving quality of life.

Precautions

This medication can potentially cause serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, so it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist before use. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so individuals with a history of heart disease or stroke, or with risk factors should use the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration and report any symptoms immediately. Due to the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, individuals with a history of gastrointestinal disease or the elderly should be particularly cautious. If symptoms such as epigastric pain, dyspepsia, black stools, or hematemesis occur while taking this medication, seek immediate treatment. People who have allergic reactions to this drug, uncontrolled asthma, hypertension, impaired liver or kidney function, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or individuals with bleeding disorders should avoid taking it. Patients with bronchial asthma, heart failure, hypertension, edema, dehydration, the elderly, and diabetic patients should be closely monitored and follow the physician's guidance while taking this medication. Adverse reactions such as headache, dyspepsia, elevated blood pressure, shortness of breath, skin rash, and swelling may arise during use; if symptoms are persistent or severe, consult a physician. Because this medication is metabolized in the liver, patients with impaired liver function or those taking CYP3A4 inhibitors should have their doses adjusted and use this medication with caution. There may be interactions with blood pressure medications, diuretics, anticoagulants, lithium, methotrexate, etc., so inform healthcare providers if other medications are being taken. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should avoid this medication, and it should be immediately discontinued if pregnancy is confirmed while taking it. The elderly are more likely to have reduced kidney and heart function, so regular monitoring is necessary while taking this medication. Those who take this medication over an extended period should have regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests; treatment may need to be halted if any abnormalities are found. In case of overdose, symptoms such as lethargy, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, and upper abdominal pain may appear. Seek medical treatment immediately. Store this medication in a safe place out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container.
