RMS Arginine Solution (L-Aspartic Acid-L-Arginine Hydrate)

Adult dose

For adolescents aged 12 and older and adults, take 5g of L-Aspartic Acid-L-Arginine once daily. It is recommended to take it in the morning, but it can be taken before bedtime as well. It can be taken with a small amount of water.

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body; therefore, patients with the genetic condition phenylketonuria should not take this medication. When taking this medication, care should be taken to ensure that the aspartame content does not exceed the maximum recommended daily intake of 40mg per kg of body weight as set by the WHO, and it is advisable to use the minimum amount possible. For example, an adult weighing 60kg can take a maximum of 2.4g per day. Additionally, individuals who have allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should not take it. Patients with severe renal or liver dysfunction, and those with a history of myocardial infarction should also avoid this medication. It is advisable not to take antipsychotic drugs or sleeping pills while using this medication, particularly because concurrent use with sleeping pills may enhance sedative effects. This medication contains caramel, thus individuals who are allergic or hypersensitive to caramel should use it with caution. If you have urinary retention issues, consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist prior to taking this medication, and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or persist. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid using this medication due to reports of teratogenic effects in animal tests. Nursing mothers should also avoid it as it may be transmitted through breast milk. Anyone planning to take this medication for more than 15 days should consult with a healthcare professional beforehand. If any abnormal symptoms occur during use or signs of overdose appear, such as diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. In case of allergic reactions, discontinue use and seek medical attention promptly. Finally, this medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and method strictly.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication in combination with antipsychotic drugs. Do not take this medication in combination with sleeping pills.
