This medication is used for female contraception and effectively prevents pregnancy. It also treats symptoms associated with premenstrual dysphoric disorder and dysmenorrhea, thereby improving the quality of life for women. It assists in the treatment of moderate acne in women over 14 years old who are using oral contraceptives. Thus, this medication is used not only for contraception but also for alleviating menstrual symptoms and improving skin health.
This medication should be taken for 24 days, with 24 pink active tablets taken once daily, followed by 4 days of taking white placebo tablets. It can be started on the first day of the menstrual cycle or on the first Sunday after the menstrual cycle begins. It is preferable to take it at the same time each day and can be taken regardless of meals. If this is the first time taking this medication and the hormonal contraceptive was not used last month, the first day of use should be the first day of menstruation.

This drug is used for the treatment of moderate acne in women who have started menstruating after the age of 14 and should only be taken if oral contraceptives are wanted for birth control. Do not take it before the onset of menstruation. Patients with cardiovascular risks, especially if thrombosis-related adverse reactions occur, should stop taking the medication immediately. It should also be stopped at least 4 weeks prior to surgery and for 2 weeks after surgery. Women who do not breastfeed after childbirth should not start taking this medication within 4 weeks after delivery. This drug may possess a higher risk of venous thromboembolism compared to oral contraceptives containing levonorgestrel or other progestins, so individual thromboembolism risk should be assessed before taking.
