Lightfresh Eye Drops 1% (Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose) (Single Use)

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye as needed, and dispose of any remaining liquid and container after use.

This medication should not be used by individuals with allergic reactions to the active ingredient or any of the components. People experiencing severe eye pain, those who have had allergic reactions to eye drops in the past, and patients currently receiving treatment from a doctor must consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. If itching, swelling, pain, or changes in vision occur during use, or if redness and irritation persist, use should be stopped immediately and a specialist should be consulted. If a person using hard contact lenses has an increase in eye discharge or if the lenses appear cloudy, they should stop using this medication and consult a doctor. If the medication is accidentally swallowed, immediate assistance from a professional should be sought. This medication should be used strictly according to the prescribed dosage and instructions, and for topical use only. As this is a single-use product, it should not be reused after opening, and any remaining solution and container should be disposed of. Care should be taken to avoid contaminating the tip of the container by preventing contact with the eyes or other surfaces, to prevent contamination or injury to the eyes. If the color of the liquid changes or becomes cloudy, it should not be used. This medication should not be used while wearing soft contact lenses; the lenses should be removed before the drops and can be reinserted 15 minutes after instillation. When using other eye drops, there should be a minimum interval of 15 minutes between applications. As this medication is thick, it may temporarily cause blurred vision upon instillation, so caution is advised. Unused medications should be stored out of reach of children, and the single-use containers should ideally be stored in their original box.

Drug interactions

When using this medication with other eye drops, they must be instilled at least 15 minutes apart.

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to protect it from air and moisture, preferably at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing it this way helps to safely maintain the medication's effectiveness.
