Precautions
This medication contains sitagliptin and metformin, which are diabetes treatments that help control blood sugar.
While using this medication, allergic reactions may occur, so if symptoms such as skin rashes, hives, or difficulty breathing appear, usage should be discontinued immediately and medical advice sought.
There is also a risk of developing acute pancreatitis, which is inflammation of the pancreas; therefore, symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting should be reported to medical personnel immediately.

Particularly, elderly patients or those with deteriorating kidney function should undergo regular kidney function tests and, if necessary, dosage adjustments or discontinuation should be considered.

In cases of planned surgery, severe infections, or dehydration, administration should be temporarily halted and restarted once the condition improves.
Finally, regular blood sugar monitoring and blood tests to check kidney function and vitamin B12 levels are necessary during treatment.
