This medication should be taken once daily with meals, preferably at dinner, and the dosage should be gradually increased. The sustained-release tablet should be swallowed whole and not split, crushed, or chewed. This medication 100/1000 mg sustained-release tablet is taken once daily, 1 tablet at a time.
