Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For the control of moderate to severe pain as an adjuvant to narcotic analgesics (morphine), administer 400 mg-800 mg intravenously every 6 hours as needed. The maximum daily dose is 3200 mg, and administration times should be at least 30 minutes. For fever, administer 400 mg intravenously every 4-6 hours as needed, with interval adjustments following the initial dose of 400 mg based on patient condition.

Precautions

Patients with blood abnormalities or tendencies to bleed, reduced liver or kidney function, elderly individuals, pregnant or breastfeeding women should use this medication with caution and under a physician's guidance. This medication can cause a range of severe side effects, such as serious allergic reactions, skin rash, liver dysfunction, respiratory difficulties, and hematological issues. Seek medical consultation immediately if unusual symptoms arise. Do not take this medication concurrently with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and avoid exceeding the recommended doses. Patients with hypertension may experience elevated blood pressure when taking this medication, and should regularly monitor and manage their blood pressure. Patients with heart failure or edema may have worsened fluid retention, and caution is advised. Individuals with poor renal function may experience kidney damage if taking this medication in a dehydrated state, thus hydration and condition should be well managed.
