Precautions

This drug should be used with caution by patients with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors, as there is an increased risk of serious cardiovascular issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Additionally, serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastric bleeding, ulcers, and perforation may occur, so especially elderly patients or those taking the medication for an extended period should closely monitor for these symptoms. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction, and those allergic to this medication’s ingredients should not take this drug. Patients with bronchial asthma or those who have previously shown hypersensitivity to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should also avoid using this medication. Pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy should refrain from taking this drug as it can harm the fetus, and caution is also needed for patients undergoing cancer treatment. This medication should be used cautiously in patients with blood disorders, liver or kidney dysfunction, hypertension, heart disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, the elderly, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Particularly, patients taking low-dose aspirin should consult a doctor, as this drug may reduce the efficacy of aspirin and increase the risk of gastrointestinal adverse reactions. During the use of this drug, symptoms such as severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, difficulty breathing, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver function abnormalities, and renal impairment may occur; hence, any unusual symptoms should be reported to a physician immediately. Also, do not exceed the recommended dosage or take it in conjunction with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Patients with hypertension or heart failure should regularly check blood pressure and fluid status when taking this medication, and close observation is required for patients with impaired renal or liver function. This drug may interact with aspirin, anticoagulants, ACE inhibitors, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, etc., so if there are any concomitant medications, they must be disclosed. Especially after the 20th week of pregnancy, it can affect fetal kidney function, so it should only be used at minimal dosage for the shortest time necessary, and breastfeeding should be reconsidered as this medication can be passed into breast milk and affect the baby. It is advisable not to use in infants under 6 months of age as safety has not been established, and elderly patients are at increased risk of side effects due to decreased body function, requiring dosage adjustment and monitoring. In cases of overdose, severe symptoms such as dizziness, vomiting, liver function abnormalities, renal failure, and difficulty breathing can occur, and medical assistance should be sought immediately.
