Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take bromelain at 100 mg per dose, twice a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Children's dosage

Children aged 12 and older should take bromelain at 100 mg per dose, twice a day, the same as adults. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with severe blood clotting disorders, such as hemophilia. Patients with severe liver or kidney disease, especially those undergoing dialysis, should not take this medication. Caution is required for patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors, as the risk of bleeding may increase when taking this medication concurrently. Pregnant or breastfeeding women are advised not to take this medication, as its safety has not been established. Children under 12 years of age should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should avoid taking it.
