How to take

Adult dose

This medication is typically administered once daily with the evening meal. The 20/1000 mg extended-release tablet is taken once daily at a dose of 1 tablet. The 10/750 mg or 10/500 mg extended-release tablets are taken once daily at a dose of 2 tablets simultaneously. The initial dosage consists of 20 mg of teneligliptin once daily and the previous dosage of metformin. The maximum recommended daily dosage is 20 mg of teneligliptin and 2000 mg of extended-release metformin.

Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of diabetes and helps regulate blood sugar levels. This medication should not be administered to patients with impaired kidney function, especially in cases of moderate to severe renal impairment.
