This medication is used to effectively improve glucose levels by combining teneligliptin and metformin to help control blood sugar in patients with Type 2 diabetes, alongside dietary control and exercise therapy.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is generally administered once daily with the evening meal. The 20/1000 mg sustained-release tablet is taken once daily, 1 tablet at a time. The 10/750 mg or 10/500 mg sustained-release tablets are taken once daily, with 2 tablets taken together at a time. The initial dosage is one 20 mg dose of teneligliptin once a day along with the existing dosage of metformin. Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of diabetes and helps in controlling blood glucose levels. However, it should not be used in patients with severely impaired kidney function or severe heart disease. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication.
