This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle aches. It helps reduce the discomfort of each symptom so that patients can recover quickly.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may place a burden on the liver, so individuals who consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily on a regular basis must consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking it. This drug contains acetaminophen, which may rarely cause serious skin reactions; if a rash or hypersensitivity reactions occur, you should stop taking it immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and care should be taken when using this medication together with other acetaminophen products as it may cause liver damage. Additionally, due to the presence of pseudoephedrine in this medication, serious skin reactions may occur; if symptoms such as fever, erythema, or pustules develop, stop taking and consult a specialist. People with allergies to this medication or who have had experiences inducing asthma, infants under 3 months, those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, and patients with severe hypertension should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take cough medications, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines during use. Particularly, children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, or those with certain diseases, allergic constitutions, or liver, kidney, and heart diseases should definitely consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia appear after taking, immediately stop taking and consult a specialist. It is generally not recommended for children under 2 years of age to take this medication; if absolutely necessary, a doctor's care should be sought. During administration, adhere to the prescribed method and dosage, avoid long-term use, refrain from alcohol, and note that drowsiness may occur, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Lastly, this medication should be stored out of reach of children and in a cool, dry place avoiding direct sunlight, and care should be taken not to transfer it to another container.
