Improving blood pressure control in essential hypertension
The combination therapy of pimasartan potassium and amlodipine is used in patients with essential hypertension who have not achieved adequate blood pressure control with existing treatments. This drug combination effectively lowers blood pressure and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The two components complement each other to dilate blood vessels and maintain stable blood pressure. Therefore, this treatment plays a crucial role in managing hypertension and improves blood pressure control with consistent use.
This drug is taken once daily with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients whose blood pressure is not controlled with the combination therapy of pimasartan potassium/amlodipine, administer this drug at a dosage of 30/5/12.5 milligrams, adjusting the dose based on the patient's blood pressure response at intervals of more than 2 weeks. The maximum dosage of this drug is 60/10/25 mg.
