This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of scurvy. It is effective for symptoms of capillary bleeding, such as gum bleeding, nosebleeds, and hematuria, caused by Vitamin C deficiency, and for alleviating pigmentation due to sunlight or skin disease (melasma, freckles). It is also used to improve symptoms of Vitamin C deficiency due to malabsorption. Overall, this medication is effective in treating and preventing various symptoms related to Vitamin C deficiency.

How to take

As Ascorbic Acid, typically 500–1000mg is taken once a day or divided into several doses. Take with plenty of water.
