This medication is used for patients with primary hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with Candesartan Cilexetil and Amlodipine in combination, and only if Atorvastatin needs to be administered simultaneously. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, revascularization procedures, and angina in patients at high risk of coronary heart disease or those with type 2 diabetes. It is also effective in treating hyperlipidemia, helping to lower cholesterol and bad LDL levels while increasing good HDL levels in various types of dyslipidemia patients. This medication is used for the reduction of hypertension and cardiovascular disease risk and for improvement of dyslipidemia.
