This medication is used as a combination of candesartan cilexetil and amlodipine for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled. Additionally, atorvastatin helps reduce cholesterol and lipid levels in patients with dyslipidemia, thereby lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It particularly reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with risk factors for coronary artery disease or those with type 2 diabetes, and it decreases the risk of complications from cardiovascular diseases such as revascularization and angina. This drug also contributes to reducing the risk of hospitalization due to congestive heart failure. In summary, it helps maintain cardiovascular health by improving blood pressure and lipid management simultaneously.
