This medication is used to gradually lighten skin pigmentation caused by excessive pigmentation such as melasma, freckles, solar lentigines, and senile lentigines, thereby improving the skin to be bright and clear.

How to apply

Adult use

As Hydroquinone 2%, apply to the affected area 1-2 times a day (morning, before bedtime).

Precautions

This medication must be used with great caution to avoid exposure to sunlight. If the application area is exposed to sunlight, the skin may discolor, so it is advisable to apply sunscreen or wear clothing that blocks sunlight. This medication should not be used for an extended period, and the duration of use should be adjusted appropriately according to treatment effectiveness. Do not use this medication if you have an allergy to the drug or its ingredients, if you are pregnant or possibly pregnant, if you are under 12 years of age, or if you have poor kidney function. Since this medication contains sodium bisulfite, allergic reactions may occur, and extra caution is needed for those with asthma. If any hypersensitivity reactions such as rash, itching, or inflammation occur, stop using the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. When using for the first time, apply a small amount and check for skin reactions for 24 hours; if severe itching or blisters develop, do not use it. If symptoms do not improve after about 2 months of use, discontinue use and consult a professional. This drug is only for skin lightening and is not suitable for sunscreen or sunburn prevention. It is safer for pregnant or potentially pregnant women not to use this medication, and it should be used cautiously while breastfeeding. Children under 12 should not use this medication as its safety and efficacy have not been established. Excessive use may cause redness or burning sensations on the skin, so the area of application should not exceed 10% of the total skin surface. This medication should be applied only to the skin and should be kept away from mucous membranes such as the eyes and mouth. Keep out of reach of children and do not transfer to other containers. Prolonged use (more than about 8 years) may cause skin abnormalities, so long-term use should be avoided.
