Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Patients with severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, as well as pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, people taking other medications, those on sodium-restricted diets, and individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Caution should be exercised if there is an allergy or hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 5 (Tartrazine) included in this medication. If abdominal discomfort or cramping occurs or if constipation does not improve after about one week of use, discontinuing use and seeking advice may be necessary. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and it is generally recommended to avoid use for children under 10 years unless absolutely necessary. Tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed, and long-term use may lead to drug tolerance and worsening of constipation, so continuous use for more than a week should be avoided. If a daily laxative is needed, the cause of constipation must be identified. Keep out of reach of children, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and avoid storing in humid environments.
