Adult dose
1) Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Typically, 10/500mg is administered orally once daily to adults. Depending on symptoms, 20/500mg may be taken orally once daily. Typically, treatment lasts for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. 2) Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: 10/500mg or 20/500mg is administered once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If the condition does not improve after 8 weeks of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) treatment, an additional 8-week course of 10/500mg or 20/500mg may be administered orally twice daily. However, the 20/500mg two times daily is only for those patients with confirmed severe mucosal damage. 3) Relief of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10/500mg once daily. If symptoms are not controlled after 4 weeks, further evaluation is necessary. Once symptoms resolve, on-demand therapy with 10/500mg once daily can be used to manage any subsequent symptoms as needed. 4) Long-term maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer orally 10/500mg or 20/500mg once daily, depending on the patient. 2. For liver impaired patients: Adverse reactions of hepatic encephalopathy have been reported in cirrhotic patients; therefore, it should be administered with caution. 3. For elderly patients: Use is cautious as they often have impaired liver function. 4. For children: Safety for children has not been established.

This medication is used for the treatment of gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, and is effective in improving erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. It also helps relieve symptoms caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease and provides long-term maintenance therapy. In other words, it is used for the treatment and symptom management of gastrointestinal-related diseases.

How to take

Adult dose
