View approved original text

This medication is primarily used to help control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. It can be administered alone or in combination with dietary and exercise therapy, and for those starting diabetes medication, if it is difficult to control blood sugar levels with monotherapy, it can be used in combination with Metformin. Additionally, if sufficient blood sugar control has not been achieved with monotherapy using sulfonylureas, Metformin, thiazolidinediones, or insulin, this medication can be added for further treatment. It is effective in improving blood sugar control across various treatment stages with flexible utilization.
