This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had allergic reactions to this drug or any of its ingredients. Moreover, infants under 12 months should not use this medication. It is advisable not to take phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids while using this medication. Additionally, it should not be taken with the drug Levodopa. Before taking this medication, individuals under one year of age, those currently receiving medical treatment, patients with hyperoxaluria, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, premature or young infants, those with cardiovascular issues, those with poor kidney function, those with protein deficiency, and individuals with gout or kidney stones must consult their doctor, dentist, or pharmacist. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loose stools, gastrointestinal disturbances, indigestion, upper abdominal pain, hypotension, or pulmonary edema occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and a specialist should be consulted. Also, long-term use of high doses can lead to drug tolerance. Prolonged intake of pyridoxine beyond 500mg to 2g daily can cause peripheral neuropathy, so caution is advised. People with folic acid deficiency who take over 10μg of vitamin B12 daily may experience blood-related side effects. High doses may exacerbate peptic ulcers, reduce glucose metabolism, or increase uric acid levels, potentially leading to liver damage. In case of overdose, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting may occur, along with increased blood sodium levels and symptoms of heart failure or edema. Care should be taken if taking with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, as it may elevate blood potassium levels. If this medication is accidentally overdosed or if symptoms do not improve within a month, consult a specialist immediately. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when given to children, it should be under parental supervision. Also, this medication may affect blood sugar detection in urine tests and can cause yellowing of urine, impacting test results. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green or black tea, before or after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children and kept in a sealed container, away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. Moreover, it should not be transferred to another container to prevent misuse; it should be stored in its original container.
