This medication is used to improve symptoms of cognitive function decline related to arteriosclerosis, such as decreased concentration, memory impairment, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Leaf Extract, take 240 mg once a day, 1 tablet. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its components. In particular, there is insufficient experience with use in children under 18 years of age, so it should not be used in this population. Pregnant women should also avoid taking this medication due to insufficient evidence regarding safety during pregnancy. Additionally, individuals with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. This medication should not be taken simultaneously with anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents. This medication may affect the metabolism of other medications, which can enhance their effects or alter their pharmacological action, so caution is necessary. In particular, co-administration with calcium channel blockers or oral theophylline may affect drug activation levels, and should be done under the guidance of a professional. Individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking medications that increase the risk of bleeding, nursing mothers, and patients with epilepsy must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If surgery is planned, this medication should be discontinued at least 36 hours beforehand to reduce the risk of bleeding. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consult a doctor to decide whether to continue usage. Rarely, gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, allergic reactions, etc. may occur during use; if any unusual symptoms arise, consult a professional immediately.
