It is also essential for maintaining healthy bones by supplementing calcium deficiency. This medicine is used to improve these vitamin and calcium deficiency conditions and promote bone health.

How to take

Adult dose

Individuals aged 8 years and older and adults should take 1 tablet once a day.

Child dose

Children aged 8 years and older should take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood), sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), and those with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should also avoid this medication. Since this medicine contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or congenital deficiencies of lactase, as well as those with glucose-galactose malabsorption, should refrain from using it. During treatment with this medication, it is advisable not to take medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids together. Children under 1 year of age, individuals currently receiving medical treatment, children who are sun-bathing and eating normally, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, lactating individuals, premature infants, and infants should consult with a physician or pharmacist before using this medication. Care should be taken by those with heart or circulatory issues, poor kidney function, low protein levels, those taking cardiac glycosides, and individuals with a history of kidney stones. If nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, flushing, irregular heartbeats, or skin rashes occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. In cases of overdose, gastrointestinal symptoms, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may occur, and long-term use increases the risk of hypercalcemia or nephrolithiasis. Also, taking this medication with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene may lead to hyperkalemia, so caution is advised. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration method, and when administering to children, supervision by a guardian is required. It is advisable to avoid drinking tannin-containing teas, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, store it in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, and do not transfer it to another container to avoid misuse and maintain quality.
