This medicine is used for mental function decline accompanied by symptoms such as decreased concentration, memory loss, and dizziness, especially symptoms due to arteriosclerosis.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 240 mg of ginkgo leaf dry extract, 1 tablet once a day. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This drug contains ginkgo leaf dry extract as the main ingredient, and specific precautions must be followed. First, individuals with an allergy to this drug should not take it. Also, children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use this medicine, as there is insufficient research on its use. Pregnant women should also not take this drug, and individuals sensitive to lactose, such as those with galactose intolerance or lactose enzyme deficiency, or genetic disorders like glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. Second, care should be taken if this drug is taken concurrently with blood-thinning medications or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), as it may potentiate the effects. Additionally, this drug may affect enzymes involved in the metabolism of various medications in the liver, so it should be taken under medical supervision when taken with calcium channel blockers or oral theophylline, as the effects of these drugs may change. Third, individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that increase bleeding, nursing mothers, and patients with epilepsy must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
