This medication should not be taken by anyone allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. It should also not be taken by infants under 12 months or anyone with symptoms of selenium poisoning. Additionally, individuals genetically unable to metabolize fructose or absorb glucose and galactose, as well as those with certain enzyme deficiencies, should avoid taking this medication. During treatment, do not take reducing agents such as vitamin C alongside this medication. If vitamin C is required, it should be taken at least 4 hours apart from this medication. Individuals with heart or circulatory issues or poor renal function, and those with low protein levels in the blood, must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should discuss taking this medication with a specialist, as should nursing women. Patients undergoing treatment or those with gastrointestinal diseases, as well as children under 12 years old, also need to consult a specialist before use. If symptoms do not improve after about a month of taking this medication, immediately stop use and consult a specialist. If symptoms such as dermatitis, foul smell during sweating or breathing, hair loss, anxiety, or vomiting occur after taking this medication, stop use immediately and consult a physician. Allergic reactions may occur, and if overdosed, symptoms may include garlic breath, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Overdose can affect nail and hair growth and may cause neurological disorders, so caution is advised. In cases of overdose, selenium should be removed through measures such as gastric lavage, inducing diuresis, or administering high doses of vitamin C; in severe cases, dialysis may be required. The drug dimercaprol must never be used as it may worsen the toxicity of this medication. The prescribed dosage must be strictly followed, and when given to children, it should be administered under the supervision of an adult. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, during and around the time of taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight. It should be kept tightly closed in its original container; transferring to another container may degrade the quality of the medication or lead to misuse.
