This medication is used for patients who require both components, Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is primarily used for the treatment of essential hypertension and in cases of heart failure when additional ACE inhibitor therapy is needed or when it is not tolerated well. Rosuvastatin serves as an adjunct to dietary therapy for various dyslipidemias including primary hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, and abnormal beta-lipoproteinemia. Furthermore, Rosuvastatin helps reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization procedures in patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, this medication is used to improve cardiovascular health by controlling blood pressure and lipid levels.
