This medication is used for patients who need to take Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin together. Candesartan Cilexetil is used in patients with essential hypertension and heart failure with impaired left ventricular function who additionally require ACE inhibitors or are intolerant to them. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to diet in patients with hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and familial hyperlipidemia, lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol and delaying the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention in high-risk cardiovascular patients with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels. By using these two components together, it effectively controls blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improving cardiovascular health.
