This medication is used in patients who require co-administration of the two medications Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. First, Candesartan Cilexetil is used in patients with essential hypertension and heart failure, particularly in those whose left ventricular systolic function is impaired and require additional therapy with ACE inhibitors or have poor tolerance. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunctive treatment for patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia when diet and exercise are insufficient to control cholesterol levels, helps delay the progression of atherosclerosis, and aids patients with dysbetalipoproteinemia in diet management. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Together, these two medications are used to manage hypertension and dyslipidemia to improve cardiovascular health.
