This medication is used for patients who need to take Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin together. Candesartan Cilexetil is mainly used for the treatment of essential hypertension and for patients with heart failure with decreased left ventricular function when additional therapy with ACE inhibitors is required or when there is intolerance to ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct for patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia when dietary control is insufficient, and it is also used in the treatment of familial hypercholesterolemia and dysbetalipoproteinemia. Furthermore, Rosuvastatin helps to slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention in patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease. This medication improves cardiovascular health by simultaneously controlling blood pressure and cholesterol.
