Precautions
This medication should be used with caution as administering more than 5,000 IU of Vitamin A daily to women in the first three months of pregnancy or who may become pregnant poses a risk of congenital malformations. Overdose of iron-containing medications in children, particularly those under 6 years of age, can lead to fatal poisoning, so it should be kept out of reach of children. Patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney diseases, those who are hypersensitive to this medication, or infants under 12 months old should avoid this medication. Additionally, patients with hemoglobin disorders, hemosiderosis, kidney stones, severe kidney failure, and those with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. It is also advisable to avoid taking this medication concurrently with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, and levodopa during treatment. Individuals receiving medical treatment, children exposed to sunlight, patients with oxalate nephropathy, pregnant and lactating women, and those with peptic ulcers or heart and kidney diseases should consult an expert before use. If any adverse reactions, such as nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, irregular heartbeats, abdominal pain, or fever occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult an expert. Prolonged high-dose use may lead to nerve damage, blood disorders, liver damage, and an increased risk of hypercalcemia and osteoporosis, so caution is warranted. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosages and under adult supervision when administering to children. The Vitamin A included in this medication can generally be sufficiently obtained from regular meals, so additional doses should not exceed 5,000 IU per day. It is best to avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, when taking this medication, as they may affect urinalysis results. When storing this medication, keep it in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and avoid direct sunlight and transferring to other containers.
