Vitamin B2 is helpful when experiencing physical fatigue, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and for those whose strength is reduced during or after illness. It is also used to alleviate inflammations that may occur around the lips and inside the mouth, such as angular stomatitis, cheilitis, stomatitis, glossitis, as well as symptoms of dermatitis and eczema. With these efficacies, Vitamin B2 is effective in recovery from fatigue and improvement of skin health.

How to take

Adult dose

Children aged 8 years and above and adults: take 2 pouches per dose, 3 times a day.

Child dose

Children aged 24 months and above to under 8 years: take 1 pouch per dose, 3 times a day. Children aged 12 months and above to under 24 months: take 1/2 pouch (5mL) per dose, 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to this medication or any of its components. Additionally, infants under 12 months of age and patients with severe renal dysfunction should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it should not be taken with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. Before taking this medication, patients who are under 1 year old, receiving treatment from a doctor, have heart or circulatory issues, have kidney disorders, have hypoproteinemia, or are pregnant must consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms such as red spots on the skin, diarrhea, abnormal heart rhythms, or central nervous system function decline occur while taking this medication, the intake should be stopped immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Caution is needed as overdose can lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema. If taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, hyperkalemia may occur, so caution is warranted. If accidental overdose occurs or if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, consulting a professional is necessary. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage, and supervision by a guardian is required when administering to children. Urine may turn yellow during use, which may affect clinical test results. It is advisable to avoid consuming tannin-containing teas such as green tea or black tea during this medication or before and after taking it. Store this medication out of reach of children and keep it tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain the quality of the medication and prevent misuse, do not transfer to another container.
