This medication is used for patients who need to take telmisartan and rosuvastatin/ezetimibe simultaneously. Telmisartan is effective in the treatment of essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular disease death in high-risk cardiovascular disease patients aged 55 years or older, in whom ACE inhibitors are not suitable. Rosuvastatin and ezetimibe improve cholesterol and related lipid levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia. This combination medication is used for the reduction of cardiovascular disease risk and improvement of blood lipids.
