This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous administration of telmisartan and rosuvastatin/ezetimibe. First, telmisartan is effective in treating essential hypertension and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It is particularly used in high-risk patients over the age of 55 who have difficulties using ACE inhibitors, reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and mortality caused by cardiovascular diseases. Rosuvastatin and ezetimibe help improve cholesterol levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. This medication effectively reduces total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, Apo B protein, triglycerides, and non-HDL cholesterol while increasing HDL cholesterol. It is used in conjunction with dietary therapy to enhance cardiovascular health and reduce associated risks.
