This drug is used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled, even when treated with a combination of amlodipine and valsartan, and is applicable only when rosuvastatin is also required. The amlodipine/valsartan combination is used for the treatment of essential hypertension and helps effectively lower blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct when dietary changes and exercise alone do not control hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. It is also effective in delaying the progression of atherosclerosis due to hypercholesterolemia and in reducing the risks of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke and myocardial infarction. This drug is used to simultaneously manage blood pressure and lipid abnormalities, thereby improving cardiovascular health.
