This medication is used for patients who require combination treatment with amlodipine/valsartan and rosuvastatin. The amlodipine/valsartan combination helps in cases where blood pressure control is difficult with monotherapy for essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin helps lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases by managing hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. It is also used as an adjunct therapy in the dietary management of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and primary dysbetalipoproteinemia. It reduces the risks of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reinterventions among patients at high risk of cardiovascular diseases. This medication improves cardiovascular health by simultaneously managing blood pressure and blood cholesterol.
