This medication effectively eliminates the causative agents of candidal vaginitis, helping to relieve inflammation and symptoms. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of candidal vaginitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Typically, 100 mg of clotrimazole is to be deeply inserted vaginally at bedtime once daily for 6 consecutive days. For short-term therapy, 200 mg of clotrimazole is to be deeply inserted vaginally at bedtime once daily for 3 consecutive days.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the active ingredient or any of its components, or who has experienced hypersensitivity reactions. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic disorders that prevent the digestion of lactose should not take it.
