Thioctic acid helps relieve fatigue when needed during intense physical labor and aids in the treatment of central nervous system diseases like Leigh syndrome. It is also effectively used for toxic sensorineural hearing loss due to streptomycin or kanamycin, as well as occupational noise-induced sensorineural hearing loss. However, if there is no effect after about one month of use, it is advisable not to continue. This medication has a positive impact on the treatment of specific neurological and auditory diseases.
