Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. One of the ingredients in this medication, acetaminophen, can rarely cause severe skin reactions; therefore, if any rashes or other allergy symptoms appear, cease use immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage of 4,000mg of acetaminophen, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other acetaminophen-containing products. Due to the presence of pseudoephedrine, severe skin adverse reactions may occur; if fever, red spots, or small blisters develop, stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional. Individuals allergic to this medication or any of its components, those who have previously experienced allergic reactions, infants less than 3 months old, and individuals taking certain antidepressants should not use this medication. Also, those allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts, as well as patients with uncontrolled severe hypertension, should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Especially children, the elderly, those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult with a professional before use. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If severe allergic reactions, skin diseases, breathing difficulties, or liver function abnormalities occur, seek immediate medical assistance. It is generally advised that children under 2 years of age do not use this medication, unless it is essential and directed by a doctor. Follow the prescribed dosage and frequency strictly, and avoid prolonged use. During treatment, refrain from consuming alcohol, and since drowsiness may occur, it is safer to avoid driving or operating machinery. Store this medication in a tightly sealed container away from children's reach, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping it in a cool, dry place. Moreover, to maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer the medication to other containers.
