How to take

Adult dose

Administer 45 mg orally once a day as Lazloxyfen Hydrochloride.

Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. When taking this medication, there is a risk of blood clots in the blood, so caution is advised for patients with a history of thrombosis or those at high risk for thrombosis. Patients with impaired liver function may have increased concentrations of this medication, so liver function should be monitored periodically, and it is not recommended for patients with liver disorders. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should not take this medication. This medication is not used for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and should be used with caution in patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease.
