How to take

Adult dose

Aged 8 years and older and adults: Take 2 tablets once daily after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (abnormally high calcium levels in the blood), sarcoidosis (an unknown cause systemic inflammatory disease), or those with kidney disease. Also, people who have allergic reactions to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months, kidney stone patients, and those with severe renal insufficiency should avoid taking this medication. During treatment with this medication, it is important not to take certain drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids together. Additionally, overdose may lead to gastrointestinal disorders, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema; long-term use may result in hypercalcemia or stone formation, so caution is required. Particularly, taking this medication with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene may dangerously elevate serum potassium levels, so they should not be taken together. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage guidelines, and it is advisable to avoid tannin-containing teas such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. Finally, it is important not to transfer this medication to another container to maintain its quality.
