This medication is used for patients who require treatment for hypertension that is not adequately controlled by other antihypertensives, incorporating a combination of amlodipine and valsartan, and for patients who need to take atorvastatin to reduce cardiovascular disease risk and improve dyslipidemia. The amlodipine/valsartan combination is used when blood pressure is not well controlled in essential hypertension, while atorvastatin helps to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, stroke, and angina, and treats hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. The combination of these two medications aids in improving cardiovascular health and effectively managing blood pressure and blood lipid levels.
