Precautions

This medication should not be given to women within the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant if exceeding 5,000 IU of vitamin A per day, as it carries a risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or kidney disease should avoid this medication. Also, anyone with an allergy to this medication or its components, infants under 3 months, patients with kidney stones, or allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should refrain from using it. Infants under one year, patients under medical treatment, children receiving a normal diet while exposed to sunlight, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant and nursing mothers, premature infants, and infants should consult a professional before taking this medication. Special caution is necessary during early pregnancy due to the increased risk of teratogenicity from excessive vitamin A intake. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin itching, dry and rough skin, or painful joint swelling occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, long-term high-dose usage may increase the risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, so caution is required. Adhere strictly to the dosage, and when administering to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. Vitamin A contained in this medication can be sufficiently obtained through regular diet, so during supplementary therapy, daily intake should not exceed 5,000 IU. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders should check their blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage if necessary. Store in a sealed container away from children, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture, keeping it in a cool place. It is essential not to transfer to other containers to maintain quality.
