Anarevo SR Tablets (Levodropropizine)

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet (equivalent to 90 mg of levodropropizine) orally twice daily. This is an extended-release formulation. Swallow it whole without splitting or crushing it.

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. It should also not be administered to patients with excessive bronchial mucus secretion or those with impaired mucociliary function. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should refrain from using this medication. It is advisable not to use this medication in patients with severely impaired liver function. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a hereditary condition that impairs the digestion of lactose should avoid it. Extreme caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with severe heart failure, serious kidney impairment, the elderly, and children. When taking this medication, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, indigestion, and constipation may occur. Additionally, neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, headache, and dizziness may also be experienced, so caution is advised. Occasionally, abnormalities in tests such as eyelid swelling or increased urinary leukocytes may appear. Caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery as this medication may cause drowsiness, especially when taken with alcohol, which can exacerbate drowsiness. Since this medication is a sustained-release formulation, it may be difficult for children to divide the dosage, thus alternative formulations are recommended. Caution should be exercised for potential drug interactions when taken with sedatives. It is safest for pregnant or nursing women to avoid using this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers as this may alter the quality.
