This medication is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, particularly erosive esophagitis. It is also beneficial for long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence in patients with esophagitis. It is used to relieve symptoms caused by gastroesophageal reflux even in the absence of esophagitis. It is effective in treating and managing various forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before meals. Swallow it whole with at least half a cup of water. Do not take it with any other beverages.
