This medication is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis. It is also utilized as a long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence in patients with esophagitis. It is effective for symptom relief in GERD patients without esophagitis, helping improve uncomfortable symptoms caused by reflux and protect esophageal health. It is used for the treatment and management of various esophageal related diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken at least 1 hour before meals on an empty stomach. Swallow the tablet whole with at least half a cup of water. Do not take it with other beverages except for water. Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, patients who have had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to this medication or its components, patients taking specific antivirals, nursing mothers, and patients with a history of myocardial infarction should not use this medication.
