This medication is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, particularly erosive reflux esophagitis. It is also effective for long-term maintenance therapy to prevent symptoms from reappearing in patients with esophagitis. It can be applied to relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease without esophagitis present. This drug helps to control gastric acid secretion, protecting the esophageal mucosa and improving symptoms. It is used to effectively alleviate patients' uncomfortable symptoms and prevent recurrence.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before meals. It should be swallowed whole with at least half a cup of water. Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, it is contraindicated in patients with an allergy to this drug or its components, those taking certain antiviral medications, nursing women, and patients with a history of heart disease. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, older adults, patients with severe gastrointestinal disorders, and those with electrolyte imbalances should be more cautious when using this medication. Patients who need to limit sodium intake should be particularly careful. This drug can cause various side effects. The safety of this medication during pregnancy has not been fully established, so pregnant women should consult their physician before use, and nursing mothers are advised against taking this medication. In case of overdose, since there is no specific antidote, appropriate treatment should be taken according to the symptoms, and it should be kept out of reach of children. Blood and lymphatic system reactions (leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, pancytopenia), fever, peripheral edema, hyponatremia, hypomagnesemia, insomnia, anxiety, confusion, depression, aggression, hallucinations, headache, dizziness, sensory abnormalities, drowsiness, taste disorders, blurred vision, bronchospasm, pancreatitis, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal bloating, nausea and vomiting, dry mouth, stomatitis, gastrointestinal candidiasis, microscopic colitis
